About Joe

With nearly two decades of experience in behavioral health, Joe is a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) dedicated to helping adolescents and adults navigate life's challenges with compassion, authenticity, and practical support. He believes that meaningful therapy begins with a trusting relationship where clients feel heard, respected, and accepted without judgment. His goal is to create a safe, welcoming environment where individuals can better understand themselves, build on their strengths, and create lasting, meaningful change.

Joe works with clients experiencing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, stress, ADHD, autism, identity development, and other mental health challenges. He provides individual, couples, and family therapy, tailoring treatment to each person's unique needs, values, and goals.

A significant focus of Joe's practice is providing affirming care to LGBTQ+ individuals, including transgender and gender-diverse clients. He has experience supporting clients through identity exploration, gender transition, and ongoing personal growth, while collaborating with other healthcare providers to promote coordinated, client-centered care. Joe is committed to creating an inclusive environment where every client feels respected, understood, and empowered to be their authentic self.

Joe's therapeutic approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. He integrates Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed interventions, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and psychoeducation to provide care that is individualized and practical.

Whether someone is seeking support during a difficult life transition, healing from trauma, improving relationships, managing anxiety or depression, or gaining a deeper understanding of themselves, Joe is committed to providing thoughtful, compassionate care. He considers it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they build resilience, develop new skills, and work toward living healthier, more fulfilling lives.
